SCAN-Harbor’s Janice Harrison Honored with Award from COFCCA!

Written by Geoff Knight, May 15th, 2023

SCAN-Harbor Directors and Staff were thrilled to hear that Janice Harrison was honored with an award from COFCCA (The Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies)! The award, named the Jim Purcell Excellence Award, is given to a staff in a youth services agency “who demonstrates excellence in their job.”

Janice is currently the Domestic Violence Specialist and Family Team Conference Facilitator. She has provided top tier work ethic throughout all her roles at the Family Renewal Center in the Bronx. She is instrumental in allowing SCAN-Harbor to support families in every way possible for them to achieve their service plan goals.

An awards ceremony was held by Zoom, so it gave all of Janice’s colleagues, friends, and family the chance to show their gratitude through a plethora of comments.

Congratulations Janice!
